Imported Brominated Flame Retardant

Brominated flame retardants (BFRS) are a generic term for a group of brominated organic compounds that are used as flame retardants and are one of the main chemical flame retardants used in plastics and textiles.

Brominated flame retardants (BFRS) have excellent fire performance and are widely used. In addition to reducing the likelihood of a fire, brominated flame retardants can also prevent it from spreading. In the case of a fire, brominated flame retardants can extend the initial fire time, which is often the prime time for people to escape. An indoor fire can easily cause enough heat to ignite all the combustible material in the room. This condition is called flashover and occurs about a few minutes after the fire has started. Brominated flame retardants can slow down the rate of combustion and slow down the occurrence of flash fire, giving personnel more time to escape.
