Nonionic surfactant is a kind of surfactant containing ether group which is not dissociated in aqueous solution, and its surface activity is reflected by neutral molecule. Non-ionic surfactant has high surface activity, good solubilization, washing, anti-static, calcium soap dispersion and other properties, small irritation, and excellent wetting and washing functions. The range of pH value can be wider than that of ordinary ionic surfactants, and it can also be used together with other ionic surfactants. A small amount of non-ionic surfactants can be added to ionic surfactants to improve the surface activity of the system. According to the structure of hydrophilic group, non-ionic surfactants can be divided into polyoxyethylene type, polyol type, alkanolamide type, polyether type, amine oxide type and so on.
