Product Description

Biopolyethylene is polyethylene made out of ethanol, which becomes ethylene after a dehydration process. It can be made from various renewable raw materials including sugar cane, sugar beet and wheat grain.
The bio-ethylene monomer can then be used in traditional polyethylene polymerization processes to make the various grades of PE (HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE).
The final product properties are identical to those of conventional polyethylene and is recyclable in the same chain established for conventional PE.

Bio-PE is a polyethylene recyclable in the same chain used for recycling traditional polyethylene from fossil source. It is not biodegradable, so the CO2 captured by the product remains fixed throughout the life cycle of the plastic.
